Crochet Indian jhumka / jhimikki

Hi dearies. Welcome to my new post. This post is dedicated to Indian jewellery which we Indian ladies adore much. I love jhimikkis the most (its called jhumkas in North India, but down in South, its jhimikki). Right from my childhood, I have been used to wearing different types of it - kilikoodu kammal, venchaamaram kammal etc.. All which are dangling, especially these types of jhimikkis, I love to wear, at least would like to spend some time watching at it.

Still vacation happening here, so with kids around I am not able to get fully involved in my crochet work. However, I managed to whip up a pair of these crocheted jhimikkis after a long thought of what to do. (uff, I couldn't even think calmly sitting somewhere in the corner as the kids attacks me everytime...  :-) ).

You can wear it along with silk sarees or any traditional outfit, give as gifts to your friends during navaratri etc.

Hope you liked this post. If you ever try this, please share with me your creations. I would love to see it. Also drop in your comments too.

Have a lovely day and weekend ahead. Happy crocheting. Bye from Kala.
